Hi
We run a few crystal reports from Accpac (5.6A (Sage Accpac 500 ERP) (Build 52) (Product Update 2)) and have just encountered a problem with one user. We use Crystal 2008 to build the reports. Thedata is on SQL server 2003.
She is running Windows 7 (64-bit) and when she tries to run the reports she gets the following message:
Do you trust this printer?
Windows needs to download and install a software driver from the [...] computer to print to [...]. Proceed only if you trust the [...] computer and the network. For more information about installing drivers, see Help and Support.
Buttons: [Install driver] [Cancel]
The main issue is that the server it refers to is no longer valid and the printer is no longer valid. This only happens for this one user, but for all the
crystal reports.
She is one of two people on Windows 7 (64-bit) - the rest of us are on Vista. However, the report runs fine for the second user. When another user uses her machine, they get the same error.
I have checked the report and cannot see any reference to a printer.
Based on the fact that this happens on one machine I suspect the issue is something to do with the setup of that machine - but have no idea where to start looking.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance
Anna
