Re: Gateway service implementation - Modular or not?

Hello Jiten

Since you would like to deploy all the model and data provider classes in the backend system you can expect better performance and you will have direct access to metadata. There would be no RFC call and hence can expect better performance as you have direct access to the business logic.

Yes its good to wrap the logic inside methods and function modules so that we can maintain easily.

If at all you want routing capabilities using MOC concept you need to deploy your classes again in the other back end system. If you are deploying classes in the GWHub and consume backend logic through RFC then you don't have deploy classes as above. All you to have is the RFCs present in backend. This is just an additional info.

You can quickly search for different deployment option available in forum and get info on it.

I think you are good to go the way you have decided.

Regards,

Ashwin
