It may be that you will need to start digging into the report (more below). But before you do, it will be very helpful to know what database you are using and the database connection method (OLE DB / ODBC / etc).
When I say diggin into the report, I mean the following:
1) Download CR 2013 from here:
SME Free Trials | SME Software | SAP
2) Open the report in CR 2013 and see if the report runs there
If the report keeps throwing errors:
1) Back it up
2) Delete all the subreports, run - does that work? If not, check the fields in the selection formula of the main report. If it does, open the backed up report, delete 5 of the subreport, run.
3) Keep on repeating (2) until you find which sub is causing the issue.
However, before you do the removing of the subreports, do let us know the db used and connection method.
