Taxonomy sorted on a custom KM property

Hi,

How do I get the taxonomy folder to be sorted based on a custom KM property (a custom date property to be specific).

We want it so that when we use KM API to read the taxonomy folder, we get the items within the taxonomy folder sorted by the custom date property.
